PARTY IN THE GARDEN: A garden party will be held at St Giles’ rectory, in Farnborough Hill on Saturday, June 21. There will be stalls, tombola, martial arts displays and dancers. Gates open at 1.30pm.

SUMMER PARADE: Orpington and District Royal British Legion will hold a 75th anniversary summer parade on July 6. Leaving Spur Road at 11am, the procession will pass Orpington War Memorial and end in Priory Gardens. A charity fair will be held from noon to 4pm.

TREAD THE BOARDS: A theatre group for five to 18-year-olds is held at Langley Park School for Girls, in Beckenham, on Saturday mornings during term-time. Debut Theatre School needs an assistant teacher with experience of the performing arts. Call 07956 439771.
