My wife had a meeting after her work last night, so I decided it would be a good idea to cook us both a meal.
It actually wasn't anything difficult, but I am only recently married and before then, if it didn't say "Microwavable" on the box, I would put it right back.

One thing that confused me however, it how much is a knob of butter?!? I wondered if some guys tend to "over estimate" the average size of a knob of butter..?

The green beans stared up at me as I held a knife in one hand and the butter in the other. Do certain women prefer different sizes of knobs of butter? I imagined the more the better, surely. But can there be too much of a good thing? Is there such a thing as a too big knob?

Maybe there is an average size knob of butter. Trouble is, I bet a woman's estimate is different to a man's estimate of the average sized knob.

Well it all went great apart from the desert. Who would have though it takes about 12 hours to set a jelly!?!

Anyway, it was a great dinner and a lovely jelly breakfast this morning. Can't complain!
