A NEW service enabling youngsters to get advice from their peers has been launched.
Young people from the Central Eltham Youth Project will form the first point of contact for information ranging from careers to bullying. The one-stop shop, which opened at St Mary’s Place, in Eltham High Street, on Monday, is funded through the South Greenwich Regeneration Agency, Community Fund, the Bridge House Estate Trust and the Government-backed Connexions advice service.
Deputy council leader Councillor Vicky Morse said: “the fact this is a project run by young people for young people is particularly welcomed.”
