DROP-IN consultation sessions for carers are just one of the events to mark National Carers’ Week.
The week began with a strawberry tea dance on Monday at the Hurst community centre in Hurst Road, Bexley, for carers and the people they care for.
Today the annual carers’ conference takes place at Crayford Town Hall. It includes guest speakers, discussion groups and information stands from carers’ support groups, clubs and organisations.
The drop-in sessions will be held on Friday at the Pier Road Centre, Pier Road, Erith (near Woolworth’s) from 2pm to 3.30pm and 6pm to 7.30pm.
