May 29, 2001 11:53: LABOUR'S Joan Ruddock has given her election pledges for Lewisham.
The Lewisham and Deptford candidate is asking for a second term to achieve her objectives.
Her pledges focus on children and the elderly.
She promises fewer children living in families dependent on benefits, more after-school clubs, a major increase in investment in schools, smaller classes for infants, an increase in pensions, extra help for pensioners and a fall in unemployment.
