POLICE have issued this e-fit (left) of the man they would like to interview in connection with an attempted rape in Slade Green on August 30.
A 21-year-old Erith woman was attacked as she pushed her eight-month-old son in his buggy along an alleyway between Richmer Road and Frobisher Road, at about 6pm.
The man was armed with a knife and cut her across the face as she fought him. Her screams frightened him off and he fled on a red bike with straight handlebars.
The man is white, in his mid 20s, slim, clean shaven with collar-length brown hair. He wore a light blue T-shirt, stone-washed jeans and a dark blue jacket which may have been bloodstained after the attack.
Call Sergeant Paul White on 020 8284 9137 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
