HOCKEY victors from a Bromley primary school will have the chance to play in the presence of the Queen.
Pupils from Highfield Junior School, in Ullswater Close, beat the seven other Bromley primary school teams in a hockey tournament at the Priory Leisure Centre, in Tintagel Road, Orpington.
The champions will now represent the Bromley team at the London Heathrow Youth Mini Games which the Queen will visit as part of her Golden Jubilee celebrations.
Councillor David McBride, who presented the Winners' Shield, said: "It was very enjoyable to see such a high standard of hockey at this well-organised event."
The Mini Games are on July 4 at the Crystal Palace National Sports Centre, in Ledrington Road.
