RABBITS and guinea pigs are in need of loving homes and the RSPCA has several such “accommodation seekers”.
Branch secretary Rosemary Hosking described the animals as “loving pets which are easy to handle”.
Anyone wanting to adopt these animals must be able to provide a secure garden and a good-sized enclosure so the animals can exercise.
Mrs Hosking said: “Looking after an animal is a big responsibility.
“Rabbits also need company, either from other rabbits or regular contact from people.
“So we are looking for new owners who will be committed to their new pets.”
The appeal for homes is part of a continuous campaign to find caring homes for a variety of animals, including cats and kittens.
