You may not know that a young EastEnders star was born and raised in Bromley.
Ellie Charlotte Dadd was born on March 15, 2005, and began training at the D&B Academy of Performing Arts in Bromley from a young age.
She also spent some of her childhood performing at The Churchill Theatre in Bromley, taking part in pantomimes from the age of six to ten.
She has since described those years as "the best time ever".

Dadd was also trained alongside future EastEnders co-stars Tilly Keeper, who played Louise Mitchell, and Zack Morris, who played Keegan Baker.
Her acting career began when she was just eight years old, when she appeared as Sophia in the 2013 short film Lipstick, which follows two siblings dealing with the death of their grandmother.
Three years later, she made her West End debut as Amanda Thripp in Matilda the Musical at the Cambridge Theatre.
Dadd continued to build her television career, appearing in two episodes of BBC crime drama Silent Witness in 2020 as Cat Shaw.
She then appeared in an episode of ITV's Grantchester in 2022, shortly before landing the role that would make her a familiar face to millions of viewers.
In August 2022, Dadd joined the cast of EastEnders as Amy Mitchell, taking over the role from Abbie Burke, who had played Amy for eight years.
The character was recast as bosses wanted to explore more mature storylines as Amy grew older.
Amy is the daughter of Jack Branning, played by Scott Maslen, also from south-east London, and the late Roxy Mitchell, played by Rita Simons.
Her character has a complicated family history, including a long-running paternity scandal and the devastating death of her mother and aunt Ronnie Mitchell, who both drowned on the same day in 2017.
Amy was subsequently raised by her father Jack, who remains one of the most important people in her life.
One of Dadd's first major EastEnders storylines saw Amy at the centre of a self-harm narrative, which resulted in her being hospitalised before attending therapy.
The storyline was developed with mental health organisations including Alumina, Mind and Samaritans, and was praised for its sensitive portrayal of the issue.
More recently, Amy has found herself at the centre of the soap's storyline surrounding the manosphere and Joel Marshall.
She became involved in a plot to lure and humiliate Joel in a park attack which left him seriously injured, with Amy subsequently becoming a suspect as detectives investigated what happened.
Dadd has also explored the real-world issues behind the storyline away from the soap, appearing alongside Diane Parish and Max Murray in the BBC Three documentary EastEnders Investigates: The Manosphere in 2025.
Amy has now been drawn into another major storyline after she confessed to having been involved in Joel's attack.
Her confession has left the character facing serious consequences as the truth about what happened begins to unravel, with the storyline putting further pressure on Amy and those around her.
Despite playing a teenager on screen, Dadd turned 21 in March 2026, meaning there is a four-year age gap between the actress and the 17-year-old character she portrays.
Away from EastEnders, Dadd has continued to work across television and theatre, building a career that began long before she arrived in Albert Square.
She has also performed in pantomimes elsewhere in south London, including appearances at Fairfield Halls in Croydon, giving her career a particularly strong connection to the area.
From performing on the stages of Bromley as a child to becoming one of the younger faces at the heart of EastEnders, Dadd has spent much of her life building her acting career close to home before becoming a familiar face on BBC One.
