Bexley students are celebrating a successful set of A-level and vocational results.
Lift Bexleyheath has reported strong outcomes across both A-level and Level 3 technical qualifications, with many students now preparing to take their next steps into higher education, apprenticeships or employment.
Among the top performers was Udana U, who achieved an A* in chemistry and As in biology and mathematics, and will now go on to study pharmacy at the University of Bath.
Tia C earned two Distinction* grades in digital media and a Distinction in business and will begin a higher-level apprenticeship in business, administration and law.
Avagh F achieved A* grades in English literature and sociology, along with an A in psychology, and will take up a place at King’s College London to study English.
Lydia secured an A* in psychology and As in mathematics and biology, and will also attend King’s College London, where she will study psychology and criminology.
Rubeka Luthfa, principal at Lift Bexleyheath, said: "Today is an incredibly proud and exciting day at Lift Bexleyheath as we celebrate the achievements of our Year 13 students and everything they have accomplished during their time with us.
"This year’s A-level and Level 3 results reflect the hard work, determination and ambition of an exceptional group of young people.
"Across our Sixth Form, we are celebrating some outstanding individual and subject achievements, with students securing excellent results across both academic and vocational qualifications and our students should feel enormously proud.

"These grades represent years of commitment, countless hours of study, lessons learned from setbacks and the determination to keep going when things have been challenging.
"Our students have demonstrated the resilience, independence and maturity that will prepare them exceptionally well for life beyond Lift Bexleyheath.

The average grade at Lift Bexleyheath for the technical qualifications is now Distinction*, which is well above the national average.
Students credited their success to a combination of personal effort and the support of their teachers and families.
To help prepare students, the school provided one-to-one tuition, impartial careers advice, additional curriculum time, group study sessions and practice exams.
Pupils also attended Tutor2U conferences, visited Canterbury Christ Church University and took part in apprenticeship workshops.
Mentoring was offered through the Innerscope programme to support disadvantaged students.
The school has said it will continue to support students and families as they consider their options and make decisions about their next steps.
