A man has been arrested on suspicion of arson after a fire in a Peckham garden.
Police and firefighters were called to reports of a fire in the garden of a residential address in Mission Place at around 1.40pm today (August 8).
Officers attended alongside the London Fire Brigade and helped with an evacuation of the nearby area.
No injuries have been reported.
One man in his 40s has been arrested on suspicion of arson.

He remains in custody.
Road closures are in place between A202 Peckham High Street and B216 Commercial Way, with a diversion route in place while the incident is dealt with.
Investigations are ongoing.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: "At around 13:40hrs, police were called to the reports of a fire in the garden of a residential address in Mission Place, Peckham.
“Officers attended alongside the London Fire Brigade and assisted with an evacuation of the nearby area.
“No injuries have been reported.
“One man in his 40s has been arrested on suspicion of arson. He remains in custody. Enquiries are ongoing.”
