A popular festival will return to a south east London park this summer, bringing a full day of live music to one of the capital’s largest green spaces.
After a sell-out 2025 show, Jazz Cafe Festival will return to Burgess Park on Sunday, August 2, 2026.
The one-day event will once again transform the Southwark park into an open-air celebration of soul, jazz, hip hop and electronic sounds.
Organisers say the festival is inspired by the long-running Jazz Cafe venue in Camden, known for championing both established and emerging artists.

The outdoor edition aims to capture that same spirit, with a carefully curated line-up and a focus on “soulful voices and boundary-pushing artists”.
Headlining this year is Grammy-nominated R&B singer Ari Lennox, joined by more than 20 artists performing across four stages throughout the day.
The line-up includes a mix of international names and rising UK talent, with performances from Smino, Greentea Peng, Nightmares on Wax, Durand Bernarr and Boldy James.
They will be joined by artists such as Jaz Karis, Kofi Stone, Mansur Brown and Frankie Stew & Harvey Gunn, alongside DJs and collectives including Dan Shake, Bushbby and System Olympia.
Festival-goers can expect a varied programme spanning live bands, DJ sets and genre-blending performances, reflecting the Jazz Cafe’s reputation for eclectic programming.
Multiple stages will be set up across Burgess Park, giving attendees the chance to move between acts and discover new artists throughout the day.
The festival will run from 12pm to 10pm and is open to those aged 18 and over. Food and drink stalls are also expected on site, alongside VIP areas offering upgraded views and facilities.
Tickets range from £45 to £65 for general admission, with VIP tickets priced at £85. Organisers are encouraging early booking following last year’s sell out demand. For more information find out here.
