Openreach is set to undertake telecoms maintenance across various roads in Bromley, according to the Public Notice Portal.
The works will involve ducting, poling, and telecoms maintenance on several streets including Berrys Green Road, Blackness Lane, and Cudham Lane North.
Bromley Council has issued a public notice outlining the temporary restrictions that will be imposed on vehicular traffic to facilitate the works.

These restrictions include a prohibition on waiting vehicles, meaning any vehicle found waiting in the specified streets or adjacent streets may be removed under the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
A prohibition on traffic will also be in place, preventing any vehicle from proceeding in the streets listed in the public notice.
This means vehicles will not be allowed to drive down these roads until the works are completed.
The council has stated that displaced traffic will be diverted via local streets as appropriate. However, cul-de-sacs will not be affected by this prohibition.
Additionally, one-way working will be enforced, meaning vehicles will only be allowed to proceed in the direction indicated by traffic signs.
The restrictions will be in place only during times indicated by traffic signs as per the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
The order for these restrictions will come into effect on August 5, 2026, and will not have a specified finish date.
However, the order will have a maximum duration of 18 months, and works will begin on or after the commencement date of the order.
Access to properties will be maintained as much as possible from either side of the closure. Emergency access and egress routes will also be maintained at all times.
Vehicles used in connection with the works will not be affected by the order, and neither will anything done with the permission or direction of a police officer in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
