A massive American fashion retailer is set to open its first UK store in a Kent shopping centre this summer.
Denim brand Wrangler has confirmed plans to launch at Ashford Designer Outlet, taking over the former Puma Clearance store, next to Hollister.
Wrangler was founded in 1947 in North Carolina and is best known for its western apparel and iconic jeans.
Confirmation of the store's opening was shown with signs at the outlet reading "Opening summer 2026".

Discussing Wrangler's launch at Ashford Designer Outlet, the manager, Peter Heritage, told Kent Online, "It will be a fantastic addition to our line-up and further strengthen our fashion offer.
“While we don't have a confirmed opening date to share at this stage, we're hopeful of a late-summer opening and look forward to welcoming the brand to the centre."
Wrangler has been worn by several A-lister names, with singer Post Malone wearing a pair of the brand's jeans at the 2024 Super Bowl.
Other stars like Kate Moss, Kendall Jenner, Madonna, Selena Gomez, Rihanna, Gigi Hadid and The Weeknd have all been spotted wearing the brand.
In the US, Wrangler operates more than 100 stores, but the opening of the Ashford store will mark the first in the UK.
Previously, Brits could only buy from Wrangler online or in some department stores.
The denim brand is known for its famous jeans, with prices ranging from £90 to £75 on its online store.
However, as Wrangler is opening in the designer outlet, prices are likely to be cheaper for shoppers.
Ashford Designer Outlet is home to a wide range of top brand names, like Polo Ralph Lauren, Boss, Lacoste, Carhartt, All Saints, and Calvin Klein.
Open seven days a week, there are more than 100 shops and restaurants at the outlet.
