Developers London Square (Crayford) Limited have sent the proposals to Bexley Council, with the hopes of transforming the former Electrobase and Wheatsheaf Works site off Maxim Road and north of Stadium Way.
The application represents the latest step in the delivery of a scheme that was granted planning permission in 2023.
The wider development will see seven residential buildings built on the former industrial site, alongside new parking, landscaping, a riverside walk and ecological improvements.

This latest application does not seek permission for more homes. Instead, it focuses on the layout and design of the streets that will run through the development and provide access for future residents.
Plans for the wider scheme also include new public access to the riverside and retained open space. Documents submitted to the council show how the estate's roads, pavements and infrastructure would be built as part of the development.
The plans include new streets connecting the seven residential blocks, as well as traffic-calming features aimed at reducing vehicle speeds and improving safety for pedestrians and cyclists.
The application also sets out where street lights, drainage systems and pedestrian routes would be installed. Detailed drawings show the layout of kerbs, junctions and visibility areas for drivers, while ensuring the roads are built at the correct levels to tie in with the surrounding buildings and public spaces.
Planning permission for the overall redevelopment was granted by Bexley Council on June 28, 2023. The approved scheme includes the demolition of existing industrial buildings and their replacement with housing, access roads, parking, landscaping and environmental improvements.
An earlier application for the redevelopment was first submitted in June 2022.
If approved, the latest application will allow London Square to progress the detailed delivery of the development and move a step closer to constructing the road network that will eventually serve the new homes.
