A caravan overturned on the M25 this morning, causing major delays for drivers.
Surrey Police were called to the clockwise carriageway between Junction 5 (Sevenoaks) and Junction 6 (Godstone) shortly before 10am on Friday (June 19) following reports that a caravan had rolled over.
No injuries were reported.
The incident led to lengthy delays on the motorway, with three lanes initially closed while emergency services and recovery crews attended the scene.
National Highways has since confirmed that all lanes have reopened following recovery work.
However, delays of more than an hour remain on the approach, with around six miles of congestion reported.
A spokesperson for Surrey Police said: "Surrey Police officers were called to the M25 between J5 and J6 shortly before 10am this morning following reports that a caravan had rolled over.
"No one was injured and all lanes have now reopened."
