English Wine Week is returning for 2026, running from June 20 to June 28, with vineyards across Kent marking the occasion through special events, tastings and guided experiences.

During the week, several vineyards open their doors with exclusive activities, giving visitors the chance to experience wine production first-hand.

Here are some of the Kent vineyards taking part:

The Mount Vineyard, Sevenoaks

Set in the rolling countryside near Sevenoaks, The Mount Vineyard is a boutique producer with its small-batch sparkling wines.

The vineyard is a destination for visitors looking for a relaxed tasting experience within easy reach of London, with Shoreham station just a ten-minute walk away.

For English Wine Week 2026, The Mount is hosting a sparkling wine tasting experience running from June 21 to June 29.

This event focuses on English sparkling wines made on-site, giving visitors the opportunity to sample a range of styles while learning more about the production process.

Balfour Winery, Staplehurst

Located on the Hush Heath Estate, the winery offers modern facilities alongside scenic vineyard views.

The wider estate spans 400 acres, with around 30 acres dedicated to grape growing.

During English Wine Week, Balfour is running a limited edition tutored tasting between June 20 and June 27.

The guided sessions aim to introduce guests to a curated selection of wines, with expert insight into the characteristics and craftsmanship behind each bottle.

There is also a free shuttle bus running between Marden station and the vineyard from Friday to Sunday, making it easier for visitors to attend.

Gusbourne, Appledore

Gusbourne is an internationally recognised estate, producing award-winning sparkling and still wines from its vineyards in Kent and Sussex.

As part of English Wine Week 2026, Gusbourne is hosting its Wine Safari and Lunch experience on selected dates throughout the week, alongside additional themed tastings.

The safari-style tour allows visitors to explore the vineyard before enjoying a guided tasting and meal, offering a more immersive way to experience the estate.
