I visited London’s Paddington Bear Experience and I think it is one of the most fun things to do in London for all the family.
The Paddington Bear Experience is nearing its first year since opening in July 2025.
Located inside London’s County Hall, the one-hour experience takes visitors on an immersive journey from Paddington station to Windsor Gardens, packed with live actors, fun games and, naturally, marmalade sandwiches.
Along the way, members of the Brown family and other characters enlist your help to make Aunt Lucy’s special marmalade, before a final Marmalade Day celebration at the end.
What I loved most about the experience is that much of the staging is made up of original sets used in the Paddington films, making it feel as if you have stepped straight into the movie.
The experience is great fun regardless of age, with plenty to see, including live acting, dancing and fully furnished sets.
The final Marmalade Day celebration offers the perfect photo opportunities, where visitors can have pictures taken with Paddington himself, pose outside colourful doorways and a classic telephone box, and purchase treats such as cookies and marmalade sandwiches.
Families can also enjoy a summer upgrade at The Paddington Bear Experience at County Hall, with a special running until September 6 offering a bundle of themed extras alongside the immersive attraction.
The Summer Special ticket includes a Paddington suitcase lunchbox, Paddington ears, a marmalade sandwich, a Fruit Shoot and a souvenir postcard, as well as seasonal touches such as bubbles and sweet treats including ice cream and macarons, plus plenty of photo opportunities.
Available at an additional cost to standard entry, the ticket adds extra fun to the multi-sensory adventure inspired by the much-loved bear.
