We’ve gathered everything we know so far after a murder investigation was launched following the discovery of a man’s body at a property in Kent.
Kent Police were called to an address on the High Street in Margate shortly after 11.30am on Thursday (June 11) following a report of a welfare concern.
Officers attended the property and found a man in his 30s deceased at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed, but he has not yet been publicly identified as of today (June 14).
The death is being treated as murder, and a Major Crime investigation was launched immediately.
Two people have been arrested in connection with the incident.
A 40-year-old man from the Margate area was arrested on suspicion of murder.
Police have confirmed he is known to the victim.
A second person was also arrested in connection with the incident.
Both suspects remained in custody as of Friday (June 12).
Police have not yet confirmed the cause of death, and a post-mortem examination is expected to establish further details.
Forensic officers remained at the property on Margate High Street into the following day, carrying out scene examinations and gathering evidence as part of ongoing enquiries.
Kent Police have issued a public appeal for information, asking anyone who saw anything suspicious or has relevant details to come forward.

The force has confirmed that the victim and the primary suspect were known to each other, although the nature of that relationship has not been disclosed.
The investigation remains ongoing.
