Two people have been arrested after a man was found dead in Kent.

Kent Police was called to a property on the High Street in Margate shortly after 11.30am on Thursday (June 11).

Officers attended and found a man in his 30s, who was confirmed to be dead.

His next of kin has been informed, and a murder investigation has been launched.

Since the launch, a 40-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

It is believed that the suspect and the deceased knew each other.

A 30-year-old man was also arrested in conncection with the incident.

Both suspects remain in custody.

Officers will remain in the area as the investigation continues.
