If you’re looking for something to do this summer, Peckham is home to a rooftop bar and cinema where you can watch films surrounded by views of London.

Located just off Rye Lane at Peckham’s Bussey Building, the Bussey Rooftop Bar was named among London’s best rooftop bars by Time Out, coming in at number nine on the list, thanks to its varied and affordable cocktails and next-door cinema.

The Rooftop Cinema Club delivers a laid-back outdoor film experience with a carefully curated mix of cult classics and new releases across the season.

Each guest is set up with wireless headphones for an immersive experience, while adjustable deckchairs make it easy to settle in as the sun sets over the city.

Thanks to its LED screen, screenings run from afternoons through to evening showings, all framed by sweeping 360-degree views across London’s skyline, including The Shard and beyond.

Next door, the Bussey Rooftop Bar has palm trees, fairy lights and pastel decking.

The drinks menu features a varied selection of craft cocktails, alongside beers, wines and spirits, with the option to order drinks to your seat during the film as well as at the bar.

Food comes in the form of stone-baked Neapolitan pizzas from Share A Slice, with vegan and gluten-free options available, as well as sides like loaded fries.

The rooftop cinema is dog-friendly, allowing well-behaved dogs at screenings, while the daytime programme includes family-friendly showings with tickets available for children.

Afternoon screenings offer a more relaxed environment for younger audiences, with under-18s welcome before 5pm when accompanied by an adult.
