A man who masturbated in a children’s park in view of the public has been sentenced to unpaid work.
Stefan Sippola, 45, was convicted of outraging public decency at a park in Lewisham.
Court documents state he "committed an act outraging public decency by behaving in an indecent manner, namely masturbating in a child's park in view of the public".
The incident took place on May 25 last year.
He pleaded guilty to the charge at Bromley Magistrates' Court on April 1.
Last Thursday (May 21) Sippola, Needleman Street in Bermondsey, was given a community order to last until May 20, 2027, and must carry out 150 hours of unpaid work.
He was also ordered to pay £250 in compensation, £400 in prosecution costs, and a £114 victim surcharge.
