An Erith man has admitted benefit fraud.
Tony Paul Rose, 32, of Swallow Close, appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on May 12.
He pleaded guilty to failing to notify a change in circumstances that would affect his entitlement to Personal Independence Payments (PIP).
The offence took place between December 4, 2022, and October 24, 2023.
During this period, Rose failed to inform the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) that his health condition had improved, which would have affected his eligibility for benefits.
Magistrates adjourned the case to allow time for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
He was remanded on unconditional bail to reappear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court in July.
