A SIDCUP carer who founded a support group has been honoured for her achievements as part of National Carers' Week.
Lois Webb, 58, of Woodlands Avenue, set up the Sidcup Carers' Group five years ago after her husband, Harry, suffered a heavy stroke.
Sidcup-based Sunrise Assisted Living organised the awards ceremony for carers nominated by friends and family.
Mrs Webb, who received an award for outstanding care and compassion, said: “My husband is a very happy person and I enjoy caring for him. I set up the group because there is no real support provided for carers.”
