The Conservatives have retained control of Bromley Council following the 2026 local elections, holding 35 seats, down by one.

Labour now has eight seats, a drop of four, while both the Liberal Democrats and Reform UK have won six seats each.

Bromley is a long-standing Conservative stronghold in outer London, and the party’s continued control was widely expected.

However, the results suggest shifting dynamics, with Reform UK making notable inroads and matching the Liberal Democrats’ seat count.

Like other outer London boroughs, Bromley is seeing pressure on traditional voting patterns, raising questions about how secure Conservative dominance will remain in future elections.
