Fetish Freak, located at 76 Bolton Crescent, London, SE5 0SE, has applied to Lambeth Council for renewal under the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982, according to the Public Notice Portal.
The shop describes itself as an "independent sex shop" and sells condoms, lubes, and other adult products.
Founded in 2007 by Jonathan Wheatley, Fetish Freak is one of the few shops in London to stock rubber clothing made in the capital.
The store has traded from its current location since 2014.
The licence renewal application is for permission to continue operating as a sex shop.
Lambeth Council has invited members of the public to review the application and submit objections.
A spokesperson for Lambeth Council said: "Any person wishing to object to this application must give notice in writing of their objection, stating in general terms the grounds of the objection."
Objections must be submitted by April 26, 2026.
They can be sent to the Licensing Section at London Borough of Lambeth, 3rd Floor Civic Centre, 6 Brixton Hill, London, SW2 1EG or by emailing licensing@lambeth.gov.uk.
