As parents find out which primary school has offered their child a place for September, the News Shopper is taking a look at the top-performing schools in Bexley.
Thursday (April 16) is National Primary Offer Day in England and as parents received their offers we are diving into the latest school data from the Department for Education (DfE).
These statistics reveal the overall pupil performance at the end of Key Stage 2 in 2025, including the percentage of pupils meeting the expected standard or achieving at a higher standard, and the average scores in reading and maths.
Schools are ranked based on their expected standard percentage, with pupils deemed to be meeting this standard if they score 100 or more in their reading and maths tests, as well as taking into account teacher assessments of writing.
Bexley's best-performing primary school based on this criteria is St Stephen's Catholic Primary School, where 93 per cent of pupils are meeting expected standards at the end of key stage 2.
St Stephen's Catholic Primary School also has the most pupils achieving at a higher standard - with almost half reaching scores of 110 or more in reading and maths.
All of the schools in the top 10 had an average score of more than a 100 in both reading and maths.
