Frog Bakery Ltd has put forward plans to convert the ground floor of St Pauls House, in Deptford High Street, into a new bakery.
The company is behind TOAD Bakery, which opened in Peckham Road, Camberwell, in 2022 - and had to rename itself shortly after its launch following a legal challenge from chef Adam Handling.
The new Deptford branch would also be called TOAD, and would offer freshly baked goods, coffee and light food, according to the planning documents.

Also included in the proposals is a retractable awning above the entrance door, a new ventilation extract duct, and new hanging signs outside.
The planning documents said: "The proposal would contribute towards the long-term vitality and success of this unit.
"The proposed installation of the extract duct together with the associated signage, represents a modest and well-considered enhancement to the premises.
"The development will support an independent local business, contributing to the vitality of Deptford town centre."
TOAD Bakery in Camberwell scores 4.5 stars on Google, and has previously been named among the best in Britain after being shortlisted for National Bakery of the Year in 2025.
The bakery has also been recognised as one of the country's "happiest" places to work in the CODE Hospitality Happiest Place to Work awards 2024.
