Section of Queens Road in Lewisham to close until April 19

Transport for London plans to implement the changes under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, according to the Public Notice Portal.

The order will effect various prohibitions on Queen’s Road from Pepys Road to Waller Road.

The restrictions will be in place from 7.30am on March 23, 2026 to 11.59pm on April 19, 2026 or until work is completed, whichever comes first.

Restrictions will be phased and may apply only at certain times.

The order also will allow all vehicles to use the northeast-bound bus lane on Queen’s Road between Waller Road and Pepys Road.

Emergency vehicles and those involved in the works will be exempt from the prohibitions. Alternative routes will be indicated by traffic signs during the closures.
