Search the Public Notice PortalDevelopers have lodged plans to redevelop the Batt Cables site in Erith with five new industrial units, as reported by our sister title London Now.
The proposal would see the demolition of the existing warehouse buildings at Batt Cables Plc on Fraser Road.
They would be replaced with five new Class B2/B8 units, covering general industry, storage and distribution, London Now reports, where further details of the application can be read.
The existing 21,782sqm warehouse buildings would be replaced with 17,531sqm of new industrial premises.
The site currently houses several industrial warehouse buildings and is expected to be reconfigured with ancillary office space, new parking, and landscaping, and potentially increased employment.
Proposed new units would vary in height.
A two-storey Unit A would be the tallest at a maximum of 18 metres, while Units B and D, which are single-storeyed, would stand at 10.75 and 10.5 metres, respectively.
The largest single-storey unit, Unit C, would be allowed to reach 14.75 metres, while Unit E would also be capped at 10.5 metres.
Car parking is set to increase from 90 to 117 spaces, plus 53 cycle spaces.

Vehicle charging points would be expanded to include 24 active and 93 passive ones.
Solar energy generation is part of the plans, with an installed capacity of 0.08MW, as well as heat pumps generating 0.25MW.
Responsibly managed water drainage should reduce surface water discharge by 94 per cent.
The site is currently home to 27 full-time staff of Batt Cables; projections following redevelopment see the site supporting up to 487 full-time equivalent jobs.
