A warehouse in Erith could be converted into a revival church under new plans.
Architectural Survey Consultants - on behalf of applicant The Lord's Chosen CRM - has submitted a planning application to turn a warehouse and offices in Whitehall Lane, Erith, into a place of worship.
The planning documents reveal that, while the proposals involve no changes to the main building's footprint, temporary containers on the site will be removed to provide 25 parking spaces.
Existing factory and packing areas within the warehouse are proposed to be converted into meeting rooms, with a storage room set to become a sitting area.
Offices and a kitchenette at the back of the building will remain as they are.
The design and access statement says that the aim of the plans is to "repurpose an underutilised warehouse" to provide "a valuable community/educational resource".
It states: "The proposal represents a sustainable reuse of an existing building without the need for construction or environmental disruption.
"It brings a functional improvement to the local community's infrastructure while maintaining the architectural character of the area."
Applicant The Lord's Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries (CRM) is a revival church which had its first location in Nigeria, according to its website.
The website says it has branches "worldwide" but does not state where these are.
Bexley Council is expected to make a decision on the plans by March 25.
If approved, works are set to be carried out between May and August 2026.
