South east London winners of Great Taste Awards 2025

The Guild of Fine Food has officially announced the winners of the Great Taste Awards 2025, known widely as the "Oscars of the food and drink world".

Out of 14,340 entries from 3,611 companies across 110 countries, products were blind-tasted over a judging period of 92 days by a panel of over 500 experts in their field.

34 products from 17 local south east London-based food companies received honours at this year's Great Taste awards, with winners ranging from artisan bakeries to award-winning dessert vendors.

Here are all this year's winners:

Tea, Coffee & Infusions

• Birchall Tea (SE26) – Three classic blends including the Great Rift Breakfast.
• Good & Proper Tea (SE1) – Awarded for their Sencha Loose Leaf.
• Ghost Tea Company (SE20) – Recognised for their organic Matcha blends.
• Lipton Teas & Infusions (SE1) – Multiple household-name brands like PG Tips and Pukka received stars.
• Mont58 Coffee (SE6) – Honoured for both compostable pods and single-origin beans.

Sweets & Bakes

• Clem’s Granola (SE5) – A standout granola mix.
• Konditor (SE1) – Famed Chocolate Noisette Cake and Pecan Pie.
• Half Ltd (SE24) – A trio of cookies from cashew shortbread to peanut butter & brown sugar.
• Too Much Sugar Ltd (SE16) – Awarded for their Salted Egg Yolk Custard Mooncake.

Savoury Treats

• Hop Burns & Black (SE22) – Collaborations resulting in inventive table sauces.
• Raastawala (SE6) – A spice blend inspired by Kolkata cuisine.
• Small Beer Brew Co. (SE16) – Low-alcohol craft beers across three styles.

Frozen Treats and Confectionary

• Ice Cream Union (SE16) – Honoured for Blood Orange Sorbet and Honeycomb Ice Cream.
• Sundae Limited (SE4) – Award-winning chocolate, pistachio, and rum & raisin flavours.

Condiments and Dressings

• EAT MALA (SE10) – Tingling & Spicy Chilli Oil that packs a punch.
• The Ginger Pig (SE1) – Fiery Chilli Jam that impressed judges.
