Space NK officially opened its doors at Bluewater on Thursday, April 17 and it wasn’t just a new store launch, it was a full-on beauty celebration.

From the moment the centre opened, eager shoppers began to queue, and by mid-morning, a long line of excited visitors snaked its way through the upper mall.

But while the queues may have been long, the atmosphere was anything but dull.

There was a real buzz in the air, with music playing, staff handing out goody bags, and beauty lovers of all ages in high spirits.

And what a launch it was.

The highlight of the day?

They had turned the escalator opposite the store into a full-blown Space NK slide.

Yes, really.

Inside, the store was sleek, bright, and buzzing with excitement.

It’s stocked to the brim with some of the most-loved and most-wanted beauty brands on the market, including Rare Beauty, Drunk Elephant, Charlotte Tilbury, Olaplex, NARS, Summer Fridays, and Hourglass.

From skincare saviours to cult-favourite foundations, every shelf felt like a curated dream for beauty lovers.

There were in-store demos happening throughout the day, with expert staff on hand to offer advice, swatches, and product recommendations tailored to each customer.

Plenty of people left with their signature black-and-white bags in tow, clutching new favourites and exclusive launch-day freebies.

And for those just browsing?

The welcoming, knowledgeable team made it easy to explore, test, and enjoy the Space NK experience without pressure.

The event was clearly well-planned, and it paid off.

Despite the crowds, everything ran smoothly and the store itself handled the footfall brilliantly.

The atmosphere remained friendly, upbeat, and genuinely celebratory.

Even outside the store, there was an infectious excitement that rippled through the shopping centre.

The opening brought something fresh and fun to Bluewater, giving regulars and new visitors alike a real reason to celebrate.

Whether you were sliding down to swatch a new Rare Beauty blush or just soaking up the vibe, it was impossible not to enjoy yourself.

With its polished interiors, standout product range, and signature service, Space NK’s arrival at Bluewater is more than just another shop opening—it’s a statement.

This is a space where beauty feels luxurious yet approachable, high-end yet playful.

A true treat for beauty fans and curious newcomers alike.

All in all, the Space NK Bluewater opening was a brilliant day—full of good vibes, glowing skin, and a reminder that beauty shopping can still feel exciting.

If you missed the launch, don’t worry—the slide might be gone, but the magic definitely isn’t.

This store is here to stay, and we’ll definitely be back.
