A MAN was threatened with a knife by a robber who stole his mobile phone.
Police are appealing for information about the theft which occurred in Cutty Sark Gardens, Greenwich, on November 23.
The 31-year-old man, was walking away from Greenwich Pier, when he was approached by the man who demanded he hand over his handset.
After the man refused to give up his phone, the robber slashed at him with a four-inch silver knife.
Police say the thief is described as being 24 years old, black, 5ft 10ins tall, with close cropped hair, and was wearing a dark green bomber jacket.
