A NURSERY has raised £531 for National Children's Week.
Parents of children at Brompton Day Nursery, in Brompton Road, Bexleyheath, turned up with their children for an afternoon of cake sales, teddy bear raffles, face painting and henna tattoos.
The money raised will go to local charities dealing with children, and to Brompton Day Nursery to provide more toys for the children.
Nursery deputy manager Brenda Smallbone said: “It was a wonderful day, with adults and children enjoying themselves.
I would like to thank all those involved in the day who managed to make it so successful.”
