National Highways road closures in Dartford

Two of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing holdups of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.

• A2, from 10pm August 19 to 5am November 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A2 westbound, Old Bexley Lane, 24 Hour 40mph speed limit for VRS works.

• A2, from 8pm September 16 to 6am September 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A2 both directions Bean Interchange to Tollgate Interchange, Lane closure for maintenance works.

• A282, from 10pm September 16 to 5am September 17, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A282 clockwise, junction 1A roundabout, Lane closures for maintenance works.

• A2, from 10pm September 18 to 5am September 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25, junction 2 Roundabout, Lane closures for routine maintenance.

• A282, from 8pm September 21 to 10am September 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A282 northbound, Dartford Crossing West Tunnel, Tunnel closure for maintenance works, diversion via National Highways network.
