A man has been taken to hospital after a stabbing in Southwark.
The incident happened in New Kent Road just before 7.10pm yesterday (September 4).
Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found a man injured.
He was taken to hospital for treatment where his condition is currently unknown.
A crime scene is in place as police enquiries into the circumstances continue.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called to New Kent Road, SE1, by the London Ambulance Service at 19:07hrs on Wednesday, 4 September to reports of a stabbing.
“Officers attended. A man was found with stab wounds.
“He has been taken to hospital. We await an update on his condition.
“A crime scene is in place.”
