Two men from Erith and Belvedere are among four charged after a "violent" assault in Maidstone.
A man was found unconscious outside a pub in Earl Street at around 12.20am on August 4.
It is alleged the man was initially headbutted by one of the group before others joined in.
The assault reportedly continued as the victim was on the ground where he was stamped on the head repeatedly and also struck with a glass bottle.
The suspects then left the scene.
The victim has since been discharged from hospital.
Four men were arrested and all charged with causing grievous bodily harm and affray.
On August 6, Jonjo Burke, 39, of Woodcut, Maidstone, James Tidy, 33, of Hazel Road, Erith and Gary King, 32, of Bellring Close, Belvedere all appeared before Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court.
They were granted conditional bail until a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on October 2.
James Anderson, 45, of Grainger Walk, Tonbridge was remanded in custody by magistrates.
His next hearing will be at Maidstone Crown Court on October 3.
