Bexley's drivers have three upcoming closures to avoid on the National Highways network.

Two of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows these three are due to start over the next two weeks, starting from Sunday.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.

• A2, from 10.30pm June 16 to 5am June 21, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A2 eastbound, Bourne Interchange to Old Bexley Lane, carriageway and slip road closure for VRS works, diversion via National Highways and local authority network.

• A2, from 12.05am June 17 to 12.05am August 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A2 eastbound and westbound, Off network, temporary speed limit reduction from 50mph to 40mph. 24/7 for this period.

• A2, from 10.30pm June 23 to 5am June 28, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A2 westbound, junction A2018, Road closure between exit and entry slip roads for VRS replacement on A2 TFL network, diversion via local authorities.
