The victim of a stabbing in Sidcup has been discharged from hospital with, one man remaining in police custody.
Emergency services were called to the scene yesterday (May 23) at 12.49pm to a health facility in Granville Road, which was later confirmed by Sidcup MPS in a tweet as Barnard Medical Centre.
One man, a member of staff, was taken to hospital after sustaining a stab wound to the arm and has since been discharged.
One man in his 60s was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and currently remains in police custody.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
A statement on X from Sidcup MPS said: “Earlier today officers attended Barnard Medical Centre in Granville Road to reports of a stabbing.
“A member of staff suffered laceration to their forearm. Fortunately the injuries were non life threatening and the victim has since been discharged from hospital.
“Further to this a suspect was quickly arrested nearby following this incident and he currently remains in police custody. Investigations are ongoing.”
