The following cases were heard at Bromley and Bexley Magistrates’ Courts on Wednesday, May 15, 2024. 

DAMIAN WOODBRIDGE, 45, of no fixed address, admitted stealing two bottles of Hugo Boss aftershave from Superdrug on Catford Broadway on May 13. Woodbridge was fined £80. No compensation order was made as the aftershave was recovered. 

HUGH MCGINLEY, 20, of Steele Avenue in Greenhithe, admitted stealing cigarettes from the Co-op in Warrington on February 24. McGinley was ordered to pay £55.20 in compensation. 

DAVID RAYMOND, 27, of Greenwich High Road in Greenwich, admitted racially/religiously aggravated harassment, alarm or distress against three people in Bexleyheath on August 20 last year. Raymond was given a one-year community order and was banned from londis Store on Alford Road, Erith for a year. 

CONOR REILLY, 32, of Swingate Lane in Plumstead, admitted racially/religiously aggravated harassment, alarm or distress against a police officer in Bexleyheath on August 24 last year. Reilly was fined £600 and told to pay £50 compensation. 

JOSHUA MALULEKE, 34, Baronet Road in Tottenham, admitted threatening a man with an eight-inch kitchen knife on Allerford Road in Beckenham on January 31. Maluleke was given a 14 week sentence suspended for one year. 

ISAAC MARTIN, 34, of Fairway in Newark, admitted stalking involving serious alarm/distress against a woman in Lewisham between October 2022 and January 2023 by sending Instagram explicit pictures and videos. Martin was given a community order including 100 hours of unpaid work. He was also ordered to pay £450 compensation and a five-year restraining order was made. 

JAMES HOLLANDS, 32, of Longleigh Lane in Bexleyheath, admitted stealing AdBlue bottles and Redd Bull from a BP garage in Harlow on January 17, February 13 and February 14. Hollands was ordered to pay a £300 fine and £252 compensation.
