A brand new chicken shop is set to open in Greenwich this week with the first 30 guests to receive free food on opening day.
Slim Chickens is set to open its latest branch in Greenwich on May 16 at 12pm this week, bringing Southern American-style chicken to customers.
The opening marks the business' 52nd store to open, bringing 50 job opportunities to the Greenwich area.
The new store will be located in the busy area of Greenwich Church Street, within close distance of nearby attractions like the Cutty Sark and Greenwich Park.
To mark the opening, the first 30 guests in line will receive a complimentary serving of Slim Chickens’ popular chicken tenders.
The menu serves a range of chicken dishes inspired by the heartland of Arkansas, with some of the most popular dishes including hand-breaded buttermilk-marinated chicken tender and wings and 15 dipping sauces to choose from.
The new Greenwich branch will offer seating for 50 guests along with screens showing sports throughout the day.
The new business will also be available to order from via Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat.
Slim Chickens has partnered with Charlton Football Club, with a 10 percent discount offered to Charlton FC Season Ticket Holders, as well as a social media giveaway in collaboration with Charlton FC, featuring a £100 Slim Chickens voucher, two tickets to a home game next season, and a signed football shirt all commencing the week of the launch.
The business also announced for the first time that it would be introducing Slim Chickens Golden Tickets, where customers will receive a golden ticket to redeem towards their next purchase.
