Orpington's The Black Horse pub has reopened following a three-week refurbishment, hoping to bring a welcoming atmosphere to pub goers.
The transformation extends throughout the pub, with a brighter “more contemporary” aesthetic with a refreshed bar and new plush furnishings.
Situated near Bromley and Croydon, and in the vicinity of A21, The Black Horse is a great place for families after a day spent at High Elms Country Park or Golf Course or even the Chislehurst Caves.
The Black Horse offer a value fixed price menu, offering a choice of three courses for just £12.79 from 12pm until 5pm, Monday to Friday, and only £15.79 post 5pm.
The pub also updated its food options with new options such as BBQ chicken wings, classic beef, red wine lasagne, and more.
A special Sunday lunch menu is available, offering up to three courses as well as a three sides bundle of cauliflower cheese, stuffing wrapped in Bacon, and Yorkshire Puddings for £6.49.
There is even a free pint of Madri on offer over the Father's Day weekend through the Ember Inns app.
Matthew Joyce, General Manager at the Black Horse, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome guests, both familiar faces and new friends, to experience our pub’s new look, whilst keeping the cosy feel of The Black Horse we all know and love.”
A recent Google Review reads: “The new refurb is amazing. I highly recommend a visit for the great food and amazing service.”
Another explained their thoughts: “A great local pub. Always friendly staff and good food. The set menu is really good and great value. They have lots of offers through the week and seasonally.”
