A Sidcup man sent sexual images to an undercover officer who was pretending to be a 13-year-old girl.
Alex Parsons, 37, of Parish Gate Drive, appeared at Woolwich Crown Court on Friday (May 10) following a police sting in February.
Parsons pleaded guilty to attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child, two counts of attempting to cause a child to look/watch sexual images and attempting to incite a child to engage in sexual activity.
The court heard that the offences took place between February 19 and February 23.
Parsons had been messaging what he thought was a 13-year-old girl named Chloe but in reality he was talking to an undercover law enforcement officer.
Judge Charlotte Welsh adjourned the case to a later date to allow a pre-sentence report.
She warned that “all options are on the table” when it comes to the sentence Parsons will face.
