A motorcyclist who died after a crash with a car near the Dartford Crossing has been named for the first time.

The rider, Andrina Everett, whose name was confirmed by police, was found injured on the M25 exit slip road at J30 at 11.40pm on April 14.

Officers and paramedics were called to the scene and Andrina was pronounced dead shortly after.

Two 18-year-old men from Essex were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. 

They were taken into police custody for questioning but have since been released on bail until July 8.

The car was allegedly involved a pursuit with officers from Kent Police before the crash unfolded.

The Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) is independently investigating the circumstances surrounding the police pursuit, following a mandatory referral by Kent Police.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Essex Police on 101 and quote reference 1331 of April 14.

A spokesperson for Essex Police said: “We were called at about 11.40pm on Sunday 14 April with reports of a collision involving a car and motorcycle at the Mardyke Junction.

“Paramedics were called to the scene but sadly, despite their best efforts, the motorcyclist died at the scene.

“Part of the roundabout was closed for several hours while emergency services worked at the scene and was reopened about 10.30am on Monday 15 April.”
