A boy has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent after a stabbing outside a train station in Bromley.

The incident happened outside Bickley train station in Southborough Road just before 3pm on April 14.

Police, including armed officers, London Ambulance Service and an air ambulance were called to the scene.

The man was found injured and taken to hospital where his condition was assessed as non life-threatening.

A boy, 15, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was one of two people to be arrested on suspicion of GBH. 

He has since been charged with GBH with intent and is due to appear at Bromley Magistrates Court today (April 16).

The other man was also further arrested by Metropolitan Police on suspicion of possession of drugs, class B.

He was arrested in connection with the incident, however he is now known to not be connected to the stabbing.

He has still been charged with possession of a bladed/pointed article.
