A road was closed in Orpington this morning (April 16) after a car overturned, damaging other vehicles nearby.
Police were called to the scene at Perry Hall Road at around 4.26am, following reports of an overturned car.
The driver reportedly left the vehicle before officers arrived.
According to AA Maps, the road was closed between the High Street and Goodmead Road, with ten bus routes on detour.
Some stationary cars were damaged, however there were no injuries.
No arrests were made, and the road has since been re-opened.
A spokesperson from Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 4.26am on Tuesday, 16 April after a car overturned in Perry Hall Road, Orpington.
“A person is reported to have left the vehicle prior to police arrival. There have been no arrests.
“Some stationary cars were damaged.
“There were no reports of any injuries.
“The road is now re-open.”
