Three people fled a flat fire in Erith this morning.
Part of the ground-floor flat in a semi-detached house on Empire Way was damaged by the fire on March 28.
Two men and a woman managed to escape before fire crews arrived on scene.
The call was received at 7.38am and the situation was brought under control by 7.49am.
The teams from Erith and Bexley fire stations are still investigating the cause of the fire.
A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade said: “Firefighters battled a blaze at a flat on Empire Way, Erith, early this morning.
“Part of the ground-floor flat in a semi-detached house was damaged by the fire, but two men and a woman managed to escape unscathed before the arrival of fire crews.
“The call was received at 7.38am and the situation was under control by 7.49am.
“The teams from Erith and Bexley fire stations are still investigating the incident's cause.”
