A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after a crash at the Blackwall Tunnel, Greenwich.
Emergency services were called to the Blackwall Tunnel northbound at around 6am this morning (Thursday, March 28) after a crash between a motorbike and a van.
Police confirmed that the motorcyclist went to hospital after suffering a leg injury.
After the crash, one lane on the tunnel northbound was closed until around 10.30am.
There was a build-up of heavy traffic in the area as the incident was dealt with.
A London ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 5:58 this morning (March 28) to reports of a road traffic collision between a motorbike and a van, at the Blackwall Tunnell Northbound, Greenwich, SE10.
“We sent an ambulance crew to scene and took a patient to hospital.”
