Three males have been arrested after police found two knives in Erith.
Police were called to Manor Road shortly before 5pm yesterday (Tuesday, March 19) to reports of males seen with a knife.
The three males were then stopped and arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon.
They were then taken into custody.
Two knives were then recovered nearby and no injuries were reported.
Enquiries are ongoing.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at approximately 16:55hrs on Wednesday, 20 March to reports of a group of males seen in possession of a knife in Manor Road, Erith.
“Officers attended.
“Three males were subsequently stopped and arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and taken into custody.
“Two knives were recovered nearby.
“No reports of any injuries.
“Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.”
